Xiaomi Mi A1 review, performance & design
Xiaomi Mi A1 review, performance & design

With the launch of the flagship mobile phone this fall, Xiaomi has announced mid-tier smart phone called Mi A1. Domestic consumers are also interested in the model by adding one more product that has been divided into the existing Red mi note 4x and Mi Max2.

It's also the first product to use the Google Android OS. It has its own MIUI OS, which has an OS similar to Android, but it is good news for Android users who are familiar with the Google.

If you look at the Xiaomi Mi A1 specification first, it is an mid-tier processor with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset which shows performance similar to premium chipsets. It has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage memory. Storage memory seems to be insufficient because it provides a Micro SD slot, so you can add up to 128GB memory further.

The display has a 5.5 inch FHD resolution. Although it is not a bezel-less display, the color and design of the Apple iPhone is characteristic to this Xiaomi Mi A1. In particular, the slimness of the full metal design delivers a different sensation from the products that use ceramics.

Charging is supported using USB Type-C connector, and 3080mAh battery is adopted. However it cannot support the quick-charge mode. Instead you can charge it with 5V/2A into USB Type-C.

In addition, the rear dual camera with 12-megapixel also shows high ratios of Xiaomi Mi A1 specification. It has the same configuration as Galaxy Note 8 and iPhone 8+ by applying general view angle and 2x optical zoom in teleport.

Especially, the pixel size is 1.25um, which is similar size and structure to the competitor's flagship product. I think that it will lead to a good response to the consumers who have poor camera performance with previous Xiaomi products.

Sound is also one of the important performances by utilizing a smartphone. It does not support 32bit hi-fi sound but it has the advantage of using high-priced headphones with high impedance by adopting 10V amplifier. Even with 600ohm impedance headphones, users will be able to listen directly without an external AMP.

All of these features, but Xiaomi Mi A1 price is only $234. If it is released from Samsung or Apple, the price would be over $500.

I use Xiaomi's various products and I have a highest satisfactory. Although it is meaningful as the first model equipped with Google Android OS, there is the merit of Xiaomi A1 which has only the price of $200 including the hardware specification corresponding to mid-tier. It is a global launch model centered on emerging markets. If you want to get sub or lowest product, you need to consider Xiaomi Mi A1. Definitely it brings many satisfaction to you. -End-
